HOLOS Privacy Policy

The short version
HOLOS has no server. Everything you create in the app — saved links, notes, tags, drafts, reminders, and your tab configuration — is stored locally on your device. We don't collect it, we can't see it, and it never leaves your phone unless you choose to send it somewhere.
What we collect
Nothing. HOLOS does not operate a server, does not require an account, and does not transmit your data to us or to any third party.
Data stored on your device
The following is written to HOLOS's private storage on your device and stays there:
Saved links, notes, and tags
Post drafts
Reminders and check-ins
Your tabs, tab names, and workspace organization
App settings and preferences
This data is included in your device backups if you have iCloud Backup or a comparable service enabled. Those backups are governed by Apple's privacy policy, not ours. Deleting HOLOS removes this data from your device.
No account required
HOLOS works without sign-up. There is no HOLOS account, no email address collected, and no profile.
When you log in to a social network inside HOLOS's browser, you are logging in to that platform's own website. Those credentials are handled by the platform, stored in that tab's isolated session on your device, and are never transmitted to, read by, or stored by HOLOS.
Browsing
HOLOS's in-app browser connects you directly to each platform's website. HOLOS does not track your browsing, log the pages you visit, record your activity, or inject any code into the sites you load.
Each tab runs in its own isolated session with its own cookies and storage. Sessions are kept separate from one another and remain on your device.
Once you are on a third-party website, that platform's own privacy policy and data practices apply. HOLOS has no control over and takes no responsibility for how those platforms collect or use information. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any network you use.
Notifications
All reminders, check-ins, and notifications run entirely on your device using iOS local notifications. Nothing is scheduled, processed, or delivered through an external server. HOLOS does not use push notifications and does not operate notification infrastructure.
Sharing into HOLOS
When you save a link from another app using the share sheet, that link is written directly into HOLOS's private local storage on your device. It is not sent anywhere else.
Exports
CSV exports are generated on demand, on your device. When you export, you choose the destination through the iOS share sheet. HOLOS does not receive a copy and has no visibility into where you send it.
Purchases
HOLOS offers a one-time in-app purchase to unlock additional features. Payment is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. HOLOS does not receive, handle, or store your payment information, card details, or billing address. Purchase validation is handled through Apple's systems. Apple's privacy policy governs that transaction.
Analytics and tracking
HOLOS contains no analytics SDKs, no advertising SDKs, no crash reporting services, and no tracking technologies of any kind. We do not build profiles, do not use identifiers for advertising, and do not participate in any data broker relationships.
Children
HOLOS is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from anyone. Because HOLOS collects no data at all, there is no children's data for us to hold or delete.
Your rights
Because HOLOS stores no data on any server, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export, or delete on your behalf. You have full control over your data at all times:
View or edit it — directly in the app
Export it — using the CSV export feature
Delete it — by clearing it in the app or deleting HOLOS from your device
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a revised date. Material changes will also be noted in the app.
